What is Q7?

We cannot unfold the rich History of Q7 here. If you are interested in the next phase of Q7 funding, as developed and proposed by the Q7 State Facilitation team, follow this link to the Minnesota State Universities' web-page.

Readiness for Work and Career is a special Q7 Quality Enhancement Project in 1996/97 directed by Roland Specht Jarvis, Ph.D. in collaboration with SCSU faculty and student advisers, the Career Services Center (AS101), Academic Computing Services (ECC 101) and members of the Learning Resources Team. The links to national, and worldwide Career Services home pages, and information providers are placed here for your perusal. They are well suited for minors and majors of any field to prepare for the job hunt, create a curriculum vita (resume) and start a portfolio. You may be interested to learn that soon there will be assistance with writing resumes from Academic Computing Services through this RWC grant! Of course, you may visit the professionals in the Career Services Center in AS101, or check out the LEO project. The "Write Place" offers assistance with creating curriculum vitae, too. If you are interested in the original proposal which brought the funds to thr SCSU campus, you may want to look ot the RWC proposal submitted. We hope that departments at St. Cloud State University and otherwise will find these home pages useful for preparing their majors for the job market. Please be sure to check out the Occupational Outlook Handbook.
