You may wish to note that I have the shortcuts to the vpn clients hidden from users, so they will not see the vpn icons by default, but if they follow the instructions, it will be working.

These systems use a wireless internet technology to connect to the network, to log on to this computer and to gain access to the internet, please follow the steps below:
1. You may find when you first turn on the computer a pop up message that is titled System Initialization In Progress, do not hit cancel but wait for the screen to disappear, proceed to step 2.

2. A pop up screen titled St. Cloud State University VPN Client will have a button at the bottom labeled “connect”.

3. Fill in your username and password at the windows logon screen, leaving the domain set to “stcloudstate”, if you receive a message about an error with roaming profiles, hit cancel past the error to proceed into windows. See step 4.

4. When you are finished with your session, please restart the machine, by going to the start button, then shut down, then selecting restart.
If you have not seen the screen mentioned in step 2, and step 3 is not letting you onto the computer, or if the internet does not work, restart the computer.

If you have any problems or questions, please contact Mario Felix at 308-4984, if he is not available, you can contact the HelpDesk at 308-2077.
