Once
upon a time there was a man named peter who lived on a ranch in Mexico with his
wife and his friendly donkey.
Peter
loved to play the drums. Peter also loved the color green; he loved green
so much that he wore his green hat, green scarf and played his green drum every
day.
One day peter
went to town on his donkey and he found out that there was a drumming contest.
Peter entered the contest and went home and told his wife.
Peter
was so excited but he forgot about one thing, the drumming contest was in a
town that was far away called Los Angeles and he had no way of getting there.
Peter did not know what to do so he walked down to the river to think
about what he could do. When he got to the river he found a fossil this
fossil was made of sand like material, when he was holding the fossil it
started to shake and turned into a canoe, but this was not an ordinary canoe
this canoe had two magical feathers on it which made if fly. Peter jumped
up and down because this was exactly what he needed. The next day peter
gets in his flying canoe and goes to Los Angeles to the drumming contest.
Peter competes
in the drumming contest and wins and he wins three prizes.
One
was an African trophy that was made of black gold. Another prize was an
arrowhead and the other was a carving of a womanÕs head. The man who gave
him the prize told him that these three prizes were the key to a hidden
treasure.
Peter was
confused after this so he got in his flying canoe and flew back home.
He took his three prizes
and put them on his dresser. When he was laying in bed he heard
something, so he sat up and looked around to find out that the womanÕs head
that he had put on his dresser was talking. It said that he needed to go back
to Los Angeles to find the treasure. Peter was not sure about this so he
went back to bed and got a good night sleep before he made any decisions. When
peter woke up in the morning he decided to go back to Los Angeles to find the
treasure. Peter brings with him his three prizes.
When Peter
gets to Los Angeles his talking womanÕs head tells him to go to a church to
find the treasure.
Peter left his flying canoe
in a safe place and decided to take a taxi cab to the church but when peter
goes to pay the taxi cab driver he realizes he is missing his wallet.
This wallet was very important to him because his wife gave it to him and
it had and elephant and a monkey on the front which were his two favorite
animals. Peter did not know what to do so he asked the cab driver if he
would take a gift instead of money. The cab driver says sure why not, so
Peter decides he must choose one of the prizes he had with him to pay for this
ride in the taxi he took. Peter thinks long and hard about it and then
the talking womanÕs head tells Peter to give the taxi driver his African Trophy
and that he did not need it to find the treasure.
Peter goes in
to the church and looks around he can not find anything so he asks the talking
womanÕs head what he should do.
She
told him to walk to the third church pew and take the arrowhead and put it in
the hole that should be on the end of it. Peter does this and the church
pew opens up and to peters surprise had a million dollars in it along with a
stamp with a lion on top and it had a secret message on the bottom of the stamp
but Peter could not read it. Peter took his treasure and went back to his
ranch in Mexico. Peter decided that he did not want the money and that he
would bring the money to the people in his town and split it up so that they
all had a chance to live a good life. But Peter kept the stamp and
decided that figuring out what that stamp with the lion on it said would be his
next adventure.
THE END.
